Our Ministries
The Episcopal Diocese of Ayod is a vibrant and growing Anglican community propagating the Gospel of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ across Ayod and Fangak Counties in Jonglei State (Republic of South Sudan). The Diocese has over “68,000 faithful Anglicans across Ayod and Fangak Counties with a total catchment population of over 355,000 people (World Bank, NBS, OCHA, UNICEF 2022 reports).
The Diocese is comprises of 8 Archdeaconries, 18 Deaneries and 36 Parishes, with 25 priests, both fulltime and parttime, ministering to God’s people. Since the inception, the Diocese has trained and graduated 33 church leaders in various Theological Colleges in South Sudan, Uganda, and Kenya. Yearly, the Diocese witnesses an increase of more than 10% of its membership, a credit attributed to the work of the Holy Spirit!
