Our Geographical Coverage

The Episcopal Diocese of Ayod is a vibrant Anglican community propagating the Gospel of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ across Ayod and Fangak Counties in Jonglei State (Republic of South Sudan). The Episcopal Diocese of Ayod has over “68,000 faithful Anglican members” across Ayod and Fangak Counties with a total catchment population of over 355,000 people (World Bank, NBS, OCHA, UNICEF 2022 reports)

 

The Archdeaconries

The Diocese comprises of 8 Archdeaconries, 18 Deaneries and 36 Parishes, with 25 priests, both full-time and parttime, ministering to God’s people. Since its inception, the Diocese has trained and graduated 33 church leaders in various Theological Colleges in South Sudan, Uganda, and Kenya. Yearly, the Diocese witnesses an increase of more than 10% in its membership, a credit attributed to the work of the Holy Spirit!
